Located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, 201 Elizabeth Street is a proposed 55-storey mixed-use development that will deliver a luxury 441-key hotel within the podium, 264 premium residential apartments in the tower above, and vibrant ground-floor retail.

The  57,000 sqm project is set to become a world-class destination blending hospitality, residential, and retail in one of Sydney’s most connected locations.

The luxury residential offering will provide an asset unseen in the Sydney Market, with the stunning location on the steps of Hyde Park.  Over 85% of the product will benefit from ample sunlight and views to Sydney Harbour, Hyde Park and Mary's Cathedral.

The Concept (Stage 1), progressed by Dexus and Perron Group, established the approved building envelope and planning framework for the site, and was given a deferred commencement consent  in February 2018.

Future Place Project's Director, Beau Bartlett, acted as the development manager for the project,  obtaining an operation consent in September 2018,  before progressing the Architectural Design Competition. FJMT (now FJC Studio) was selected as the winning design team, recognised by the jury for their excellence in architecture, landscape, and urban design.

Dexus and Perron Group divested the site in 2019. Charter Hall and Abicus have since progressed the Stage 2 DA for the site with the City of Sydney.

Accelerated housing for NSW

The NSW Government has introduced planning reforms and established the Housing Delivery Authority to fast-track major housing projects. The initiative supports the delivery of more homes for young people, families, and key workers, with new provisions allowing spot rezonings to progress alongside development applications—cutting approval timeframes by up to two years.
